Public Work Radar

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Public Work Radar handles and how it is used when you visit the site, request research, or purchase a service.

Last updated: October 31, 2026.

Information you provide

Depending on how you use the site, you may provide:

  • Your name, company, email address, and optional phone number.
  • Your trade, role, work categories, service area, and minimum job or account size.
  • Preferred counties, states, agencies, general contractors, owners, facilities, or other buyers.
  • Work you want to pursue or avoid, timing horizon, and preferred briefing format.
  • Notes about target accounts, competitors, public sources, or other research context.
  • Messages sent for support, billing, cancellation, or other requests.

The request tool prepares an email using the details entered. Nothing is sent until you choose to send it. Once sent, the message is processed by your email provider and Public Work Radar's email provider.

Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe. Public Work Radar receives transaction and subscription details needed to manage the service, but does not store full payment card numbers. Stripe processes payment information under its own privacy terms.

Public-source information

The service researches information published in public or customer-provided sources, such as agency procurement pages, bid postings, planholder lists, public notices, permits, development records, project pages, buyer signals, and facility information. Research may include business contact or professional information when it is relevant to an opportunity and available from an appropriate source.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to requests, filter and deliver research, manage subscriptions, process payments, provide support and service notices, improve the site's research workflow, protect the service, and maintain reasonable business, tax, and compliance records.

Cookies, analytics, and technical logs

Public Work Radar does not currently use analytics cookies on this site. The hosting or content-delivery provider may process basic request, device, network, security, and error-log information needed to deliver and protect the site. Stripe may use cookies and related technology on its checkout pages under its own policies.

Sharing and service providers

Public Work Radar does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with providers that support email, hosting, security, payment processing, and other service operations; when directed by the customer; or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, or address misuse. Providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Retention

Information is kept only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including delivering the service, supporting customers, maintaining transaction and business records, resolving disputes, protecting the service, and meeting legal obligations. Different categories may therefore have different retention periods.

Access, correction, and deletion requests

You may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you by emailing jacob@publicworkradar.com. Include enough information to identify your request, but do not send payment-card details or other unnecessary sensitive information. A request may be limited where information must be retained for security, transaction records, legal obligations, or another legitimate purpose.

Security

Reasonable steps are used to protect information appropriate to the service and the information handled. No website, email account, payment processor, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure, and Public Work Radar cannot promise that unauthorized access or disclosure will never occur.

Minors

Public Work Radar is a business service and is not directed to children under 18. The service does not knowingly seek personal information from children.

This policy may be updated as the site or service changes. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the current version was posted.
